What is Resin or Resin Jewellery?
Resin is a highly viscous chemical compound which once cured becomes solid. Many plants secrete resin for their protective benefits. Humans use of Resin is ancient from the times of Greece and Egyptian kingdoms. An example of plant resin is Amber which has many applications such as incense.
Nowadays many types of Resins are available in market for various applications. Art Resin is commonly used for making jewellery which comes in liquid viscous form. Curing agents like a hardener compound or UV light are used to faciliate solidification of Art Resin. While working with liquid Resin we take precautions and use gloves and eyewear. But, once the Resin is cured, it is safe to touch and use.
Yes, all our designs involves use of real natural flowers and leaves. The flowers & leaves are hand-picked from excellent quality organic sources, then dried in silica (or sometimes inside my hubby’s thick books😉; sshhh…he doesn’t need to know😅).
How long can I use the Resin Jewel?

How to clean the Resin Jewel at home?

Solidified Resin itself is waterproof, so the botanical part is waterproof too as it is preserved inside the resin. However, please take precaution with the materials like metallic chain, rings, etc. as they are only water-resistant, and therefore exposure of these materials to water for long time may reduce their durability.
